    Commercial-Industrial Realty Council of Delaware Hosts March Luncheon

    The members of the Commercial-Industrial Realty Council of Delaware (CIRC/Delaware) and their guests gathered at the Clarion Belle in New Castle, Delaware on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. The featured speaker was Jeffrey D. Randol, Executive Director, Fort DuPont Redevelopment & Preservation Corporation. Once a military installation, Fort DuPont is now being integrated into a place to call home for people looking to connect with nature, history and community. In addition to the restoration of historic homes and commercial buildings, Fort DuPont will include a marina, hotel, restaurants, new residences, retail stores, conference center and office space all on the waterfront and a short walk to downtown Delaware City.     Commercial-Industrial Realty Council of DE Hosts February Luncheon

    On Wednesday, February 14, 2018 members of the Commercial-Industrial Realty Council of Delaware and their guests met at the Clarion Belle in New Castle, Delaware for their monthly luncheon. Scott Johnson, a partner in McConnell Johnson Real Estate Company provided an overview of the Delaware Fiber Network project and discussed the continuous positive impact it has on the State of Delaware.     The Sonitrol team spent the day on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 visiting area police departments to celebrate Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Concerns for Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and other partnering organizations, have created this very special day dedicated to recognizing the law enforcement community and thanking them for the sacrifices they make every day while protecting our communities.     Commercial-Industrial Realty Council Hosts Holiday Luncheon

    It was a festive day as members of the Commercial-Industrial Realty Council of Delaware (CIRC/Delaware) and their guests gathered on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Whist Club in Wilmington for their annual holiday luncheon. Board of Directors Membership has continued to grow under the leadership of Jim Manna, CIRC/Delaware Membership Chairman and his team.  New Members Once again, members stocked the pantry at the Food Bank of Delaware with their generous donations of non-perishable items. Raffle tickets were sold with all proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware. We support their efforts to prepare the future workforce of Delaware.     CIRC/Delaware Welcomes Futurist Jim Lee at October Luncheon

    Members and guest of the Commercial-Industrial Realty Council of Delaware (CIRC/Delaware) heard an interesting presentation from Futurist Jim Lee at the luncheon on October 11, 2017 at the Clarion Belle in New Castle, Delaware. Jim is a financial investment advisor with Stratfi and a member of the Association of Professional Futurists. His presentation focused on Emerging & Future Trends that Impact Real Estate, including the forces of demographics, technology/automation and the movement of the shared economy (Uber, Airbnb, WeWork, etc). Continuing Education classes were held both prior to and after the luncheon meeting. As always, the Clarion Belle did an excellent job and the food was delicious.
