    Sonitrol Security Salutes Vineland Police Department

    Joe Allen, Vice-President, Owner, Sonitrol Security of Delaware Valley, commended the Vineland Police Department for its response to a Christmas morning burglary of an area business at an Awards Ceremony on February 4, 2014. A Sonitrol Security operator received an audio alert from the store when the burglary took place, according to a letter from the company, and heard glass breaking. The operator then contacted Vineland Police Department and kept them informed of movement she heard in the outlet store, the letter indicated.     Sonitrol Security Proudly Supports Wilmington Police Villians Ice Hockey Team

    The WPD Villians ice hockey team started in 2011 with a group of officers from B and C platoons who started playing pick-up hockey on Friday evenings at The Pond in Newark, DE. Over the next few months, interest grew and a team was formed. The Adult Men's League began and rosters grew to include members from many agencies including Wilmington Police Department, the Delaware State Police, Newark Police Department and the FBI, as well as retired officers from the New Castle Police Department and the New Castle County Emergency Communications Center.     Sonitrol Security Supports Goodwill Industries at Golf Tournament

    On September 19, 2013, golfers gathered at the Cavalier Country Club in Newark, Delaware for the Ted VanName Goodwill Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament.  Sonitrol Security of Delaware Valley proudly sponsored the 10th hole along with vendor partners - Avigilon, Linear and Genesis.   Once fully funded, the scholarship program will assist an estimated 40 to 60 people each year with the opportunity to earn their high school diploma or a two-year associate degree in any area of study. As golfers visited the Sonitrol Security hole, they were treated to our juggling prisoner Michael Hoffman who entertained them with his "Don't Drop the Ball on Your Security" antics.  A photo was taken of each foursome.
