Sonitrol Security of Delaware Valley Celebrates Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
The Sonitrol team spent the day on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 visiting area police departments to celebrate Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
Concerns for Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and other partnering organizations, have created this very special day dedicated to recognizing the law enforcement community and thanking them for the sacrifices they make every day while protecting our communities.
National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) is celebrated each year on January 9 and Sonitrol Security is a proud supporter of the nationwide effort.
For more than 50 years, Sonitrol Security and law enforcement agencies have had a deep connection and partnership. Sonitrol Security prides itself in being the leader in verified electronic security which significantly increases the safety and efficiency of officers responding to alarm calls, resulting in more than 175,000 documented apprehensions since 1977.
To show support, the Sonitrol Security of Delaware Valley team visited local police departments in Philadelphia, Delaware and Southern New Jersey and provide breakfast or lunch.
We visited the following police departments:
Philadelphia: Philadelphia Police Districts 2nd, 8th and 15th.
New Jersey: North Wildwood Police; North Wildwood Fire; Carneys Point Police; Vineland Police; Harrison Township Police; Medford Lakes Police; Swedesboro Woolwich Police; and Pine Hill Police.
Delaware: Wilmington Police; Newark Police; Middletown Police; and Delaware City Police.
